didn't get a bid
by: nobidAm not sure what I am doing wrong but this is the second semester I have rushed and not received a bid. I rushed some top houses etc. I don't know why this is the case. I have friends in houses. What would you guys recommend and think reasons I am not getting a bid.

Depends on the house, but generally you're looking for 'frat guys', essentially meathead dudes that pull and drink - though that's not always the case.
If the guys in the house like you, they'll give you a bid. If they don't, then you're just plain out of luck. Try another house, you may find you fit in better there anyway! Don't get discouraged.

For top houses, maybe... though I think some of the houses may have a week or so left.

Nah, I don't think it's over (even for top houses), but they've definitely given out bids. If you're getting invited to rush parties and not just sober events, you probably still have a chance at a bid.
