The Greek Community at Illinois needs to promote a common message about the high value and positive experience of being in a fraternity or sorority here. The dissing of other members of the community suggests that we are neither unified nor a "community" striving to build up our individual organizations or members. It also shows an extreme lack of self confidence. It's ironic that many of the fraternities promote the idea of strength through unity -- yet the negative commenters on here do not value unity and strength. But it is exactly what the IFC at Illinois needs to demonstrate to attract the best students to our organizations. The negativity undoubtedly turns off some of the best students from ever even considering us. It's a real shame. We are our own worst enemies when diss each other.
