informal and withdrawal?

Just wondering if anyone on this site has gone through formal recruitment dropped out and then went through informal the same school year? Do you really end up in a house that you belong to? Is informal difficult?

Did you drop before bid day or did you accept a bid? If you accepted a bid I don't think you can rush again until formal recruitment next year.

No, I did not accept a bid I dropped after Open House. Will this affect going through informal?
