juniors rushing

I'm in the same boat.. someone please provide some assistance

I rushed as a Junior and was one of the few, but not the only one! In fact there were some girls that were Juniors in my group who hadn't transferred, but just weren't sure if greek life was for them. I ended up in a house, and although it was not initially my 1st choice, it ended up being very worth it. I was told that some houses don't want to accept Juniors, in others it's just less preferable, and then in others, they really don't mind at all! There are always rumors going around, some true, some not, so you'll just have to see. I'm sure it also helps if you know some girls in the houses. I didn't know anyone! This year I was also told a lot more Sophomores, Juniors, and even a few Seniors did rush and got houses, so my advice would be to at least give it a try. I'd say it is worth it. Hope I helped. I rushed as a junior transfer this year and I got into a house. The entire process went really well for me. I got 13/14 houses back first invite, 10 of which were in my top 14. I got 7/8 back second invite. During pref (third invite) I got back 3 houses. During the entire process I went back to houses that everyone on here considers a "top house." Personally I feel you should choose a house based on where you fit in & feel most comfortable but whatever. I say go for it & go through recruitment as a junior. I felt it was a great experience & I am so happy with the decision I made. Don't let your age hold you back. It's tough transferring as a junior but recruitment helps you meet so many girls! I know a senior who rushed and got into a good house, don't worry about what year you are!
