tailgating
by: illiniI love block, but sometimes I wish we picked a few games to tailgate instead of going to the bars. Our games have such a low turnout because most of us don't leave block. I wonder if we had some more tailgates, which would probably raise school spirit a bit, some actually decent football players would want to play at Illinois. Sure our official mascot might be a giant capital "I", but that doesn't mean we have to let our school spirit die. Thoughts?

Maybe the team would win if the good recruits picked us over other schools. But most don't want to play for a team with crappy fans

So you're going to start tailgating now because we went 6-6 last year and went to a bowl game so maybe you should show some support for the team that did way better than you even know because you were too busy getting schwasted at the bars at 6am every morning. Im a girl and go to every game and so do a lot of the girls in my house.

To the??? Idiot. It was maybe 2 years when we were right up with Alabama in players drafted in the first 3 rounds of the NFL Draft and you have to be a top player to get drafted that so high. We just need some winning on the field and a good environment to become a truly good program but we won't become a good program without fam support
