rushing

What percentage of people actually get into a sorority/fraternity when they rush? Can some people not get into one at all?

Frats are easier to get a bid from generally dpending on the house. Lower houses (AKL ,Theta Xi, etc) give out tons of bids like hotcakes. Its been know that Theta Xi gives out bids right from the first time they meet you at a rush party. Top tier houses (Pike,Sigs,ATO) are more selective and typically only give out 30-40 and only after a few events so they can get to know you.

I believe about 75% of the fall rush sororitys pnms will pledge but you have to factor in that many of the girls drop, it isn't always because of lack of invitations, just some don't get invited by houses they like. It's a little harsh. Most guys can find a house that suits them if they really want to join.
