MOST PROMINENT (no particular order)
Theta, GPhiB, AXO, DG, DDD

SOMEWHAT PROMINENT (no particular order)
KD, Chi O, KKG, ADPi, APhi

LESS PROMINENT (no particular order)
Pi Phi, AOPi, SK, AGD, AXiD, SDT, DZ, Phi Sig, AEPhi

I say Prominent rather than Top or Best because every house has something to offer. The Prominent ones are the better known/larger/more prestigious ones, but the others are all good. And for some girls, a more low-key sorority experience is better.

And within levels, there is no need to micro-rank, because within each level you pretty much go after similar girls, and have social events with pretty much the same fraternities.

So pick a house, enjoy it, don't worry about others, and enjoy your time at the U of I. The end.

i really liked how you put prominent ranks etc. You bring a very valid point how some houses are low key which some girls might like. Really one of the better ranks on this site. good job.

DG is just not prominent anymore. It's sad that they don't seem to be able to accept that.

DG is prominent, that does not go away overnight. Whether you like them or not, let's be honest.

If you think they are currently a bit weaker than in the past, well maybe you have a reason to say that, and that is certainly a topic to discuss.

Also agree, they are known to be a great all-around house. Not so much glamorous but smart, fun and down to earth. Personally I think they are one of the best. But general consensus, OP is correct.

The op can't be a current student, sounds like elder advice. Guessing alum, bored and out of touch. Perhaps the relevant and research person trying to look like a different person . ???

I agree, it's the phony sounding advice that gives her away. Makes me think it is the troll that people speak of??? Pretty obvious
