by: .so im transferring next year and I'm a TKE but my friends said that TKE here sucks so is it true and should i just consider not transferring to the house here and rush instead?

This is pathetic. You pleaded and initiated into TKE wherever you currently go to school. You are now a TKE for life, not just at your current school.
You can't "just rush" and yes, people will for sure find out that you are indeed a TKE from another campus and thus a fraud if you dare try and rush here.
You obviously have no loyalty, trust, or code of conduct if once initiated you want to join yet another chapter and gain their bonds and secrets.
Grow up and stay at your own school and enjoy it.

you can go through rush, it has been done. And recently.
And if guys in current houses find out you were a TKE, they will certainly understand your desire to re-affiliate.
Historically, half the fraternities were started by men who were previously in other fraternities. Trust me, you can do it, it's no big deal, and it will be the best decision you make at UofI.
Joining a good TKE chapter at another school for one year, should not punish you to be a member of a crappy chapter for the rest of your college career.
As we say at Uof I - If you can't go Greek, go Teke.
