Fall Recruitment

by: Helpppppp

I’m an incoming junior transfer from a CC and am planning on rushing/ want to join Greek life. How does this impact the housing requirements if I do end up joining/ would I still need to live in the house my senior year

Yes, a lot of the times this is how you'll have to do it. Some houses might understand and not have you live in, since you'll be a senior (just find this out via asking around, really I'm not sure how else).

However I do NOT recommend bringing this up during formal recruitment to girls rushing you as it may make them feel as though you are hesitant to live in and then to view you as not as strong of a candidate. I believe it ultimately comes up to whether a house releases girls based off of their university graduate year or the amount of years they have been in the sorority.
