Whats to stop someone from hypothetically taking out their vendetta against someone (for whatever reason) by publicly calling them out and defaming them without offering up any proof. They can even do it anonymously without having to put their own reputation on the line for a possible lie.

Im the president of the university and I also know the girl. This info is very much not true and no one really says this stuff.
