friends as a sophomore?

Hey guys I’m transferring to UIUC next fall from a community college. Should I rush as a sophomore? My main concern is that I know most of the girls who rush are freshman. Is it easy to make friends?

I rushed as a sophomore and it was a great decision. It wasn't hard to make friends, sure they might be younger but it's still fun!!

Most of the sophomores who rush end up befriending the sophomore aged girls in the house, or simply become friends with their pledge class! The age difference doesn’t seem matter. It’s important to know though that the way panhellenic has rush set up, it’s harder for sophomores to get bids because they count as 2 freshman bids (super lame ik). Overall don’t let that discourage you, I think it’s absolutely worth it!
