diversity in sororities

Is diversity a goal for the sororities on campus? I am black, and I want to feel comfortable and welcomed if I ever decided to participate in activities.

Yes! some really strive for diversity, others not so much.

I don't think it is much of a "goal" - this is Illinois not the East Coast, so no one is in your face about that stuff. People here mostly just make friends based on you as an individual.

HOWEVER, if you go through the process you will probably find a group who likes you for who you are and you will become a fully welcome member. Good luck!

not really much diversity but hopefully it will improve. makes some girls not want to rush

Not really...they all act like their trying to be diverse but don’t follow up on it.
