sorority questions

Hi! I have a couple questions about rushing a sorority.

1. If you're nice and normal and have a good GPA, is it likely to get a bid?
2. Is there a lot of hazing? If so, how bad is it?
3. I don't drink? are there girls who don't drink as well? Some people have told me that you HAVE to drink at UIUC.

A lot of it is personality and looks. no hazing. If you don't drink the girls will think you're a weirdo who cant keep down liquor or cant socialize. Many houses prefer girls who will drink and have fun and it may affect your chances of getting a bid.

Not true at all. Completely false. First off they don't talk about drinking during recruitment... were not allowed to...so nobody knows who drinks and who doesn't. Secondly as long as your social noone cares if you don't drink. I know some great sorority girls who don't drink. And yes you will get a bid as long as you keep an open mind.

if you dont drink you'll fit in most in chi omega, theta, aopi, sigma kappa, or even possibly alpha phi and adpi. Don't bother with tridelt, dg, axo, gphi, kd, agd, dz. The other houses I dont know enough about to say one way or the other.
