fraternity: rush spring or wait until fall?

by: bo

I was wondering if I should rush a fraternity in spring or wait until fall. I want to get the pledge work out of the way as soon as possible, but I also heard spring pledge classes aren't as well liked as fall pledges. Also I heard there are alot less events for pledges (like exchanges with sorority pledges) in spring than in fall. Is any of this true?

How much longer do you want to be a GDI for?

^OMG so true. Don't be a GDI. A lot of houses have some solid half classes.

^ but are these half classes still as well liked and respected (once theyre members) as they would be if they rushed fall? I just heard theres sort of a stigma with being a half class, is this true or bs?

Depends on the houses you rush. Ask around when rushing

Pledgeship is pledgeship, spring or rush. Rush depending on how much longer you want to be a geed for.
