formal recruitment as a sophomore?

I'm transferring as a sophomore in the spring semester... is it weird/uncommon for sophomores to go through formal rush? does it make getting a bid ten times harder?

No way! Tons of girls rush their sophomore year! It's probably a 50/50 of freshman and older girls. I promise you'll be fine. (:
