Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Texas State University - TXST 4.0 After everything going on at the university, Sigma Chi is for sure one of the top houses still at Texas State. The two years I have been here they have definitely improved and managed to not get kicked off or leave the school and keep getting better. One thing they need to work on is not being alcoholics all the time, went on a date party with one who drank way too much so his brother had to take care of him, so I guess good brotherhood but some points off for classiness.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Texas State University - TXST 4.4 Really tired of people talking bad about sigma chi. In all honestly, they’re probably my favorite fraternity at Texas State (including those not recognized) because they aren’t the same stereotypical frat guys that you see with all of the other fraternities here. This past year I’ve gotten to know a lot of the guys and not only are they hilarious, they’re really sweet too!! They love to have fun and throw parties but at the same time it seems like they want to make sure that everyone is safe, which has obviously been kind of a problem here so I respect it. I’m excited to see what they have in store this next year and I wish they would have a formal or something fun (even though the rules suck)!

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Texas State University - TXST 1.0 Don’t let that last self rank post fool you, this is not a top tier fraternity and middle tier at best. the parties are lame and the brothers are constantly trying to be the typical TFM Old Row frat stars, they do stay active with derby days but that’s relatively it. The guys are creepy and a majority of their new pledges are top tier rejects, potentially could be on rise because of not enough fraternities are left at this point.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Texas State University - TXST 5.0 Sigma chi is very selective in their process of brotherhood, they only take the best of the best and dont settle for mediocrity just to raise numbers. Sigs are very social, and their philanthropy always earns the most money while having a very fun time too. I have numerous friends in Sigma Chi and they’re very genuine guys and their bond between one another is truly unbreakable. They’re rowdy and fun when they need to be, and serious when it comes down to the important issues. I’d consider Sigma Chi to be a melting pot, they dont discriminate, in fact, they welcome people from different backgrounds; it helps in the growing process. Id give sigs 5 out of 5, all around just a fantastic group of men, and a fantatsic organization.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Texas State University - TXST 1.4 A decent fraternity that tries way too hard to be frat, a lot of nice guys but a lot more weirder ones! With four of the major fraternities being kicked off it might be their only hope making it to be a top tier, a lot of involvement but the parties usually disappoint.

Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity at Texas State University - TXST 3.2 From an outsider's perspective, majority of my best friends are in sororities so I meet some of the guys and Sig Chi's are a hit or miss. One of my best friends is a Sig Chi but I've also met some of the douchiest guys at one of their parties. Masquerave and their Halloween party with Phi Psi was fun asf but they're okay. Not super friendly until you try to actually start a conversation with them.
