fraternity rushing

You will hear a speaker the first day followed by formal rounds through half of the fraternities. You will spend roughly 15 minutes in each house where you can carry on a conversation with members of that fraternity. You will be led by two Gamma Chi's who may or may not be very helpful in answering questions you have. Friday, you will complete the second half of formal rounds and fraternities will make their first round of cuts. On Saturday there will be another speaker, then you will be invited back to houses that are interested in you. You can visit the different houses you were invited two for a two hour period. Fraternities will make a second round of cuts on Saturday night and write bids on Sunday morning. You will go to Dedman on Sunday afternoon where you will wait until your group is called. You will then be given an envelope with your bids in it. The rest is your prerogative. The most important thing you can do as a PNM during rush week is attend the different parties at night. Each fraternity will have some sort of party or event you can go to. These events will be where you have the best chance of having a meaningful conversation with someone.
