Rushing a Frat and not from the NYC Metropolitan Area

by:

Hey, so I am interested in greek life at Binghamton, but as someone not from the NYC metropolitan area, does anyone recommend ways in how I can meet people from the upper tier frats when I am an outsider? Do these top-tier frats make any effort to recruit people from different backgrounds?

Put yourself out there and meet people. Every frat hits the rat for flip night. Introduce yourself to someone wearing letters in your classes. Only advice I can give you is to stay away from this website. It’s full of salty geeds who didn’t get a bid the the frat/soro they wanted to join.

Thank you very much. I am always open to meeting new people from all walks of life and as somebody from rural Upstate, I think being apart of Greek life will open more networking opportunities for me. Thanks for your response.
