Please be advised that my rating of this fraternity is based on my experience with other chapters in New York State. The University at Albany has not listed Theta Chi on its website with regard to good standing or disciplinary status. According to available intelligence data elsewhere in the SUNY system this fraternity flourishes free from official persecution even on campuses that are very hostile to a Greek life.

My rankings are based on the Golden Age of Greek life at UAlbany and may be dated. What has not changed is the exceptionally strong bond among brothers, including and especially alumni. They also understand campus politics better than any other single fraternity, as such. We shall need them soon, and they need us because they too are underground and have lost their above-ground primacy on campus, e.g., Student Association. If we fight side by side we shall all rise together: these guys know how to gather intel and how to play dirty, and this is exactly what we all need now. And no, I am not a member of TKE; but I do respect their cohesion, craftiness, and commitment.

Former Eminent Archon. Being a member of this chapter has had a positive effect on my life and professional career. Hope they continue to live up to the True Gentlemen standard and survive the school administration's never-ending war on greek life.
