[society] invited to bar night with other juniors?
by: .I'm not sure what this is. I was invited to get drinks with a society, but other potential taps are going as well. What is the purpose of this? Is it an interview?

Yeah you should consider this as an evaluative interview. They're bringing some "finalists" I'm sure to this event to observe how they interact with each other, how social they are to eliminate any awkward people. They'll probably give you an opportunity to talk with the society and allow you to ask questions. But it's more for you to hang out with the juniors.

chill. you need to interact well with the juniors to stand out as well as be chill and enthusiastic with the seniors.
