junior societies

i have never been on this website before but i saw a lot of society posts. are there junior societies at yale? if so, how do we join? i know its probably an obvious question but i dont know anything ever so please dont laugh at me. sincerely, a nerdy kid who never knows about anything.

Dumb. Don’t mean anything. Tap night is fun then you just... never meet again in actual junior year. If you don’t get in one don’t worry about it they mean nothing for actual society. But just like senior societies you join by getting tapped by someone already in it
