the sophomores invited a lot of sigep guys. it was the older girls who invited all the leo guys. if u know girls in alpha phi, you'll know which sophomores and which seniors i'm talking about. but the sigep presence was entirely 2020.

APhi's dope. A lot of people dislike SAE/Leo who they associate with cause it tends to attract rich boys who can obviously perpetuate an elitist and stuck up vibe. But I don't think it's fair to blame the girls for what the guys do. Sorority-fraternity relationships aren't a marriage or anything -- they're not responsible for what each other do. Take Leo out of the picture and the girls of APhi themselves are beautiful and very down-to-earth.

APhi is really laid-back and that's what helps them year after year during rush. The only area where they might not be so laid-back is when it comes to being a little showoffy about money but that doesn't define APhi as a whole. You can call them snotty for not showing up to every mixer, but it's just because APhi girls aren't as "sororityty" as Pi Phi girls and they don't really care about typical "sorority" responsibilities -- more about being independent and not letting their letters dictate their entire social life. No one in APhi is only friends with people in APhi. Super sororityty girls usually go for Pi Phi, and more alternative girls go for APhi. It's a preference thing.

The girls are really down to earth and there is a large mix of girls from all backgrounds: they are welcoming to all and super friendly. This page is so toxic and overlooks the majority of the sorority. APHI GIRLS ARE SOME OF THE NICEST, SWEETEST GIRLS YOU WILL MEET ON CAMPUS. Please stop being so mean, and remember there's over a hundred girls in this sorority, each representing its values and sisterhood. Although alpha phi has become more selective, they are still super down to earth, fun to talk to, and care so much for each other.

Their reputation has definitely changed from the Alpha Phi that first came to campus because they are more selective and a little more uppity. The Leo association and the rich-girl thing, take that as you will. I don't think it's representative of APhi as a whole; the majority of girls are really down-to-earth and kind.

Many of the girls are really hot/desirable but some of the others are way more lowkey and they don't intermix at all... their sisterhood is very poor as is their mixer attendance. It's like they think they're above the system or something

After all the drama about sororities, girls were advised not to post on GR about other sororities saying bad things about one another. And now, the same girls who use this website to pit sororities against one another for absolutely no reason at all are using "fraternity associations" to make digs at other women — essentially blaming girls for things that men that they "associate with" do. Please try to remember that just like the tier system, "associations" ; are very loose. There are a lot of girls in Theta, Pi Phi, and APhi who go to SigEp and a lot who also go to Leo, and Sig Nu, and Zeta, etc. It depends on who your friends are, not your Greek letters. People use this website to try and make generalizing statements about people. PLEASE try to remember that the recent message from Panhel saying not to post on GreekRank did not mean "start bringing up fraternities on sororities' pages." It was a message to try to minimize the toxicity and meanness that was being spread on this website in any and all forms. Alpha Phi is a great group of people, and so is Theta, and so is Pi Phi. The attacks that are being made make it obvious who uses this website to put others down in an attempt to make their own group of people look better in comparison. Pro tip: if you want a good PC, wait until rush and be welcoming and friendly to the rushees. That is what you're supposed to do — not this.
