hazing

once you're given a bid some sororities will have a night or two where they will "haze" you. basically an older girl that you likely know will strongly encourage you to drink a lot. but they will take care of you. and if you ever don't want to drink, or want to stop, they will let you. no body wants anyone being uncomfortable in their own sorority or getting too drunk cause then your sorority will get in a ton of trouble. after everything sigma had to go through with hazing rumors most sororities won't force you to do anything worse than drinking, or wont have anything regarding hazing to begin with. its really all about bonding as a new member that isn't initiated yet.
