I honestly can't believe that someone would attack your philanthropy like that. Autism Speaks is a wonderful advocacy organization, ladies please keep raising money and awareness and don't listen to anyone in person or online doubting it. Panhellenic love to you gals

The majority of the girls I know are sweethearts, nice and like the girl next door. Out of all the sororities, they're probably tied with phi mu as girls I would introduce to my mother.

I think it's Clear that "not a fan" isn't Greek or know anything about Greek life or sororities to think that Philanthropies are "picked" by the campus chapter. All the sororities have great national philanthropies. Yes there is political debate over some of them including Autism Speaks, Breast cancer awareness, etc. but at least the panhellenic woman are involved in giving back to the community and trying to advocate for something!

Dear "Not A Fan". We did not choose our philanthropy, Nationals chose it for us. I think it's a great philanthropy and even though you may disagree with it, it brings light to a major issue that, if solved, would make the lives of millions of families easier. Thanks :)

I still think they haven't broken through to the top tier yet, despite other comments on this site. I wouldn't compare their girls to Phi Mu at all. Two different organizations with two different types of girls. AXiD has some really sweet girls, but they try to hard and that's beginning to show. Still, I respect this organization a lot AND their philanthropy. Autism Speaks is wonderful and they do a lot to support it.
