Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.8 They tried to rush me for 2 semesters and I just didn't really feel very comfortable around the org as a whole. Most conversations felt a bit forced, like they were desperate for me to pref them. They were too agreeable, trying to relate to everything I said, even if it contradicted something they had said earlier in our conversation. They're nice girls and I have nothing against them, but in the end I joined the org that I felt most comfortable in. Good luck and happy rushing :)

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 4.2 Fun sorority to party with, always have a good time. They can be a bit... quirky, but in a good way. Theyre not overly focused on looks, but they also have some hot sisters.

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.6 Here's the lowdown on this sorority: They' got some really chill sisters who know how to throw down. They aren't the most popular sorority on campus but they're the most genuine sorority. Compared to the others they have the best sisterhood. If you're looking to join a sorority based on quality of girls this would be the one, if your just looking for a sorority that is "popular" but no one of the girls like each other look else where.

Here's the lowdown on this sorority: They' got some really chill sisters who know how to throw down. They aren't the most popular sorority on campus but they're the most genuine sorority. Compared to the others they have the best sisterhood. Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 5.0 Love these girls! They're pretty, diverse, social, and not fake unlike some other greek groups on campus. Super nice and welcoming people :) you can tell they care about eachother and of the 3 sororites i would definitely pick to rush them!!!

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 2.4 This sorority is lame. They don't have a process, so they barely know their line sisters. I was told by a girl who just crossed not to even bother rushing because they don't offer anything but intelligence which I feel is exhibited by pretty much every sorority at Stony Brook generally. If you're looking to be part of an organization just to be part of an organization for letters and not spend time, this is the org for you.

I'm sorry but literally everything you just said is flat out wrong, ASA has one of the best sisterhoods on campus, complete lots of charity work, and constantly supports one another.

Thanks for your feedback! I'm sure you didn't talk to anyone who crossed cause every single one of my sisters loves this org as much as I do or they wouldn't be here. And I know you don't know much about Greek life but I don't know any sorority on this campus where you can just join and not put in time. You have to put in time and major commitment when you are joining and even more so when you are a sister!

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 4.2 I rushed this sorority this semester but could not join because of personal reasons but out of all three (ASA, SDT, TPA) these girls were the NICEST, most SOCIAL and down to earth girls I've ever met. They were the only ones who went out of their way to talk to rushes during formal recruitment and the other sororities would just kind of brush you off if they didn't already know you. I love these girls and bonded with them so easily! 10/10 would recommend meeting sisters!!!
