I've seen the same comments regarding all of the more relevant organizations and I advise you to take these reviews with a grain of salt. On an overwhelmingly antisocial campus, organizations like these are really nice to have around. You may not ever realize how rewarding it is to join or create a club or organization until you decide to actually do it. Most of you seem lonely and I sympathize with you greatly.

Almost every single one of the reviews here contains false information. Sigma Alpha Mu - ΣΑΜ Fraternity at Stony Brook University - SBU 2.7 Brothers are creeps, parties are fun, be ready to not talk to the brothers at parties because they don't want to talk to you. Their house is big and good for parties but really weird vibes, basement is so ratchet.

Sigma Alpha Mu - ΣΑΜ Fraternity at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.8 Best party frat but for what you have to do to join I don't think it's worth it. A lot of their members flunk out, transfer, or stay for multiple years. They're definitely fun and throw down but that's it. To their credit they are signigantly active in their philanthropy which is a positive

Sigma Alpha Mu - ΣΑΜ Fraternity at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.6 These guys know how to party. They very rarely have hot brothers though. Some brothers can be pretty creepy. But they do have a lot of parties that are always lit so they got that going for them.
