Delta Zeta - ΔΖ Sorority Ratings at SFASU

They are the bottom sorority on this campus. That is indisputable. Very few girls go into recruitment hoping for DZ. That does not mean the sorority has any less value for opportunities than the others. Lots of girls get into DZ and fall in love with it. Some people are tempted to drop out if they're only choice is Delta Zeta and I think that's wrong. They are making huge Improvement and are only bottom because someone has to be. I think they are one or two successful recruitment from being right smack-dab in the middle with everybody else. I wish them well

Very friendly and accepting group of girls. They’re not your typical preppy white annoying girls, they’re nice!

the girls are only in there just so they can say they’re in a sorority. they have & always will be bottom tier. if you’re not liked by a certain group, you’re automatically shunned by everyone else. poor sisterhood & they’re losing numbers quickly. wouldn’t be surprised if the chapter isn’t there in 5 more years.

Delta Zeta is really coming on and becoming a lot better. I only put bottom tier because they aren't most girls number one choice going into recruitment. That is not being mean, that is just a fact. I see them improving greatly because they have been getting better and better girls with each recruitment

Okay I am going to be real here. Majority of the rankings for any sorority will either be from the girls themselves, or other sororities attempting to bring the other one down. Thats how it always is. I got a bid from DZ and another sorority and I chose the other one because of the higher reputation. Looking back I realize I made a mistake. Nothing wrong with the one I picked, all of them have their flaws, but I spent time recently with some of the DZ girls and honestly I felt so comfortable, I did on bid day with them, but that’s the thing. Spend your time with the ones who make you feel like you can go to them for anything. As great as my sorority is, DZ provided a strong comfort level for me. They focus very much on who you are as a person, and not so much on the physical flaws. Im not saying they aren’t beautiful, because they absolutely are! I’m saying that there are some things girls focus on more and it can feel really shallow at times. One DZ it was my home that I missed out on. Go where you’re comfortable, don’t waste your time with jealousy and bash other sororities, for me DZ made me not afraid to be myself, and I was with my previous sorority. That’s just how it goes. So honestly, every sorority has great things about them, for me, personally... DZ was kind of the one that got away.
