chicks
by: Frat KidSo it's no secret that Stanford doesn't have as many hot chicks as, say, U of Central Florida or Arizona... Are the hottest chicks at Stanford (mostly) Greek? Or are there lots of 10s that are non-Greek? This might be a really stupid question, but I always imagined sorority chicks to be the most "out-there" and attractive of a college...?

Greek life is obviously different at Stanford than it is in the Big 10 or down south, etc. There's less of a divide between Greeks and Non-Greeks since our Greek life isn't as prominent -- you'll find hot girls that are Greek and not-so-hot girls that are Greek (and vice versa). A pretty face does help a girl out for getting bids, but it's not as nearly as important as character. Go Greek not to get hot girls/get laid, but to find yourself a network of like-minded brothers that you'd wanna be friends with during and after college.

I would agree with this, but also add that sorority life tends to attract women who are more "put-together" - wearing makeup, nice clothes, hair done, etc. This doesn't automatically make you more attractive (and there are plenty of people on both sides who defy this) but it does contribute to the "look" of a pretty girl.
