my head off when I see ANY chapter get a "1" for anything! Esp. for "More Involved!" Each chapter gives so much time toward fundraising! I heard that DDD WAS GIVEN an award for raising so much to the Children's Hospital - so to give them a "1" just blows my mind!

We all rank based on those girls we know, because they are our only window into the group as a whole. Imagine this: your weakest member/the girl with the bad rep is stuck in an elevator with a non-Greek while waiting for maintenance to come and fix it. What impression will the non-Greek leave with? THAT is the reason that EVERY member matters. You are only as strong as your weakest member...so why INTENTIONALLY pledge weak members in favor of others who are much more 'qualified'? Makes no sense.

They get a 5 for Fun, but a 1 for classy. Don't think that trade-off is worth it.

it's what happens when you indiscriminately pledge legacies, regardless their reputation. you wind up making a trade off in accepting girls like that because you end up with a marred reputation on campus in that girl's hometown.

Definitely the #1 sorority on campus and DDD is #2. I'm not in a sorority but I have friends in a lot of them. DGs are super involved and everyone knows who they are. They're easily the most popular and they got the best pledge class at rush this year. Hope they do well this year too!

fun group that is involved and has a good rep here at Southern. Great leaders - There are two girls that really should not be a part of this group, but then again, every house has a few of those. But I really think they are the only one that has a girl that has a DUI - you NEVER would have gotten a bid from us because of this, but I guess it helped having your sister as President the year you came through!
