As a sigma chi from another chapter, can definitely say that the guys at the Pi chapter are top notch. Best house, awesome brothers, closest to a state school you'll get at Samford, best pledge program by far, and most serious about their chapter of all the fraternities on campus. Heard from a few people that the guys can be "arrogant", but they have a right to be considering how poor the other chapters are at Samford.

Sigma Chi is a mixed bag. The few people I talked to were very nice, but the overall feel of the fraternity left a bad taste in my mouth and I wasn't alone. Definitely got the feeling that I had to "prove something" to be a true brother. In other words they were full of themselves, or that's the impression I was left with. They definitely like to party, and I agree with the previous commenter, Sigma Chi is most like a state school. Sigma Chi also, has probably, the nicest house on campus.

Some times these guys get a bad rap because they know how to have fun and they got in trouble because of one reason... they are the only fraternity on campus that resembles a state school at all... sometimes they could use a little humbling. I hang out with these guys and one other fraternity, stand up guys

Top on campus. People get annoyed with them because they have the best GPA, philanthropy, parties, and inter murals. Also, they don't use LOLs vv

My son was recruited heavily by the 3 top ones at SU. He chose PiKapp and it's still the best just like it was when I graduated from there. Some good Sigma Chis, but the way they dress is ridiculous. I like preppy, but long pants please with sports coats. LOL

Sigma Chi is the best all around fraternity on campus. They are consistantly at or near the top at everything ranging from intramurals to step sing to community service, and they know how to have a good time. The concert they had on the IM fields last semester was a blast and it was fun to see not only sorority girls there but people from all across campus. That was the best example of their reputation on campus. The best parties and events that everyone wants to be at.
