letters of recommendation and competitive process

I am considering transferring to this school as a sophomore (heard they had a good program for my major), and I would like to join a sorority if I do come here. Is the recruitment process not competitive at all, just a little competitive, or so competitive that I need letters of recommendation, references, etc. for every single house?

The recruitment process is not very competitive, but I would definitely take it seriously. As long as you are a genuine and yourself, you will go to the right house!
