People seem to forget that they can simply choose not to do what they are being pressured to do. Say you don't want to, and mean it. There is a fear of being kicked out for declining, but no one really puts that to the test. Report if you wish, but don't do it in the first place and see what happens.

You should not be asked to do anything that a friend would not ask you to do. If a friend did try something like that, you would just tell them you don't want to, or would feel uncomfortable doing so, or no thank you, or whatever. If you say nothing then you are complicit in what happens to you. Just be firm but cool and calm and set the tone, and other pledges would hopefully speak up too and the sisters would back down. And don't let your pledge sisters pile on you either. Now, if you are threatened with being kicked out or something, then you call the national sorority office right away and tell them you want to report hazing, and they will handle it immediately, guaranteed, and that is much better for everyone concerned than the school getting involved.
