joining a sorority with a house

I wanna join a sorority with a house but im confused why some sororities did recruitment at a frat house?? Having a house makes it feel more legit and established so im confused why some were done in houses that weren’t theirs. Are they trying to take that house or something?

Also are there any sororities that are doing it from a house right now that wont have it next year? I heard phi mu isnt gonna have a house anymore on greekrank but during recruitment the girls didnt mention that to me

They’re in frat houses because their houses are not big enough to accommodate recruitment so it would be a fire hazard. :) that’s the only reason

Axo doesnt have a house so they wanted to somewhere cool to recruitment from instead of the student center but they dont have a house. DG’s actual house was too small so thats why they used a frat house. And phi mu is moving from that house but has a new one which youll probably find out if you make it to next round

Phi mu is moving to pi kapps house so they’ll still have one but not the same. Dg recruits out of a frat for fire safety reasons but they have a house. Axo and sk are the only ones with no house at all
