answering all the pnm questions

Hello to all the girls utilizing this website while rushing:
1) Stop asking for objective opinions on this site. You won't get them. Go through sorority's instagrams and look at the girls in their chapter. During rush, don't think about how pretty or how cool or how nice anyone you are talking to is. See if you can hang out with them at the end of a long day. That's a better bet than using Greekrank.
2) Yes recruitment is manufactured who you talk to based on your indicated major/interest/clubs/recs from sisters.
3) Sororities have WAY more say in who comes back than you do so stop worrying about your rankings so much, it matters the most for after pref only. You'll understand this more when you get your bid cards back. Just trust the process, sororities cut girls that they know will not vibe well with their chapter. They know their chapter better than you do after a 30 minute round. You'll end up someplace where you will be happy if you keep an open mind and don't stress too much about it. Trusting the process is the most important.

When I rushed last year I didn’t go to any MTS and I got invited back to sdt and zta

It's not just MTS too it's everything from dessert/taco nights to involvement fairs to knowing people. If you haven't indicating interest in them they won't indicate interest in you and you can easily miss the cut. Girls have pre-recruitment scores and it is not just about the convo first round - pre-recruitment scores are often weighed more.

You need to go to meet the sisters and etc. to get invited back to Phi Sig, ZTA, and GPhi second round, maybe SDT but their numbers aren't great this year. Almost everyone goes back to Phi Mu, AGD, SK, and DG second round unless you were rude or really didn't click remotely or had a bad rec written. So it really depends on how many meet the sisters and earlier recruitment events you went to if you make it to 5 or not.
