I really hope Greek life is still there next year as I plan to attend WashU (hopefully I'll get in) and join greek life. It's very confusing that people are trying to abolish when it's only 30% of the student body. Aren't there other groups to join if you don't like greek life?

Absolutely. Race-focused student associations, a cappella groups, sports clubs, business and professional frats, and other various clubs have huge presence on campus. I’ve never felt greek life was an overwhelming presence, except maybe big/little reveal week for sororities lol.
