Why are people being hated on for their own beliefs?

by: Hey

I'm honestly worried to be in a house who i will not be sharing the same political beliefs with others. I know we can't talk about politics during recruitment, but once you join a house you most likely will at some point. I'm a conservative and especially with what's going on right now, I'm scared i won't be accepted in my sorority house or between my sisters or being judged for what i believe in. Do you guys have any advice?

No one will hate on you. There’s a mix in every house and the only political conversations that take place are in close friend groups.

You’re not going to find a house where everyone thinks the same as you, that’s part of the college experience - getting introduced to people with different points of view, backgrounds and life experiences. Most houses have a wide range of girls with all different belief systems and conversations sometimes get a little heated but nobody hates on anyone for different political beliefs.
