rush (formal vs informal)

If someone potentially couldn't get in a fraternity during formal rush, should they rush again at the house informally? Would it be strange if the same person who got rejected the first time at the fraternity or sorority showed up the second time at an informal event?

Nah bro, there's so many kids during formal rush that they probably won't even remember. Don't worry about that.
