question for sororities

How much does appearance matter when rushing? I'm talking weight, looks, and clothing. I know people will say personality is really a top aspect but I've heard stories where some sororities aren't as likely to pick a girl if she's overweight...

Honestly- looks do matter, but they matter for things like jobs too. Being overweight isn't a big deal- it more like being clean and looking presentable that make an impression. So- fix your hair and put on (minimal) make-up and choose clothes that are comfy and flattering to your body.

Still- personality and conversation are very important. It's honestly not just looks

No your weight does not matter. Your personality is the main focus during recruitment, in the end it's your personality and values that will join the house, not a number on a scale

A top house won't cut you for your weight. Im in a top house and weight doesn't really matter as much as presentation of yourself. Just clean up and look hygenic
