So I heard that to be in a sorority you must have some sort of money is that true? I heard the most inexpensive due is around 700 here at UTSA

I know my chapter is around $800 per semester for new membership dues and just calculate an extra $100 for merchandise that you would most likely purchase if not more. So yes it does cost money

Yes. While the amount differs between each chapter, I know that they offer different payment plans, or at least mine does. That way you don't have to pay it all at once, instead you can pay in monthly increments.

He most I have had to pay is 650 and that was because I was a new member that it went down to 425. Not bad considering my BFF at smu pays 2000 but that's bc they have housing and are well recognize. There is also payment plans which would help.
