maybe they decided to break away from recruiting the same type of girls from the same towns and same high schools. Bringing in girls that all know each other already or know "of" each other also brings in the same high school baggage and cliques. It's tough for girls coming from other areas, or out of state, to come into a house where almost everyone already knows each other and is coming in with their friend group already established. Honestly kudos to Phi Mu for trying something different.

It's good to mix it up. Did they get the best pledge class? No, not by a long shot if you're basing your so called tiers on looks. They needed to get their sisterhood moving in a better direction so they probably were smart to do what they did.

They are showing some substance and depth. Good for them! So much of this ranking and tiers is based on looks. It is sickening. I like Phi Mu a lot better now!

To OP. We get it...you don't like Phi Mu or someone in Phi Mu. How nice you have an anonymous site to vent like a jealous high school girl. Did you really claim that Phi Mu is going to suffer in recruitment a YEAR from now? And what is even more distubing is your intimate knowledge about Phi Mus pledge class. Aka... Who they got, who they didn't get, are they pretty enough, aren't they pretty enough , what area they came from or didn't come from, their moral standards or lack of. Even though you aren't a member of Phi Mu, your knowledge ( cough cough) of their pledge class is astonishing. Looks like girl's got issues. But hey, at least you have GR to hide behind. Go Pan

Ummmm, we met all the girls through rush just like you did, remember? The fact is you took a lot of girls that were "questionable" and were dropped by the other top houses. Many current members know girls going through rush and their reputations. That's not jealousy, that's a fact.

I think it's ironic that DZ and AXO are considered diverse and known for taking OOS girls, but are always bashed/considered lower in tiers for it because they don't take cookie cutter girls. All of a sudden when Phi Mu "diversifies," they're supposedly better for it. That's a double standard if you ask me.

To Ironic: How is DZ considered "over tier". They are consistently ranked high even on this site. Maybe they were "lower tier" a few years ago but they have clearly established themselves as top tier.

What are you talking about?? I didn't claim any 'intimate knowledge' of your pledge class, just girls i went to high school with for 4 years. And yes, the juniors at my school interested in sororities were totally like wth? when they saw the instagram pics... Even teachers commented. So yeah, they probably will realize a year from now if they go who is in what. Also i am a chi o legacy who wanted chi o and got it. So no bitterness to Phi Mu personally. Also looks like you are gossiping on this board with all the rest of us!

Obviously a freshman. You do realize EVERY house will have someone that
others will question for reputation and/or grades. You will also soon learn that girls that had "sparkling" can reputations lose them very quickly. Many that profess their wonderful reputations are not as they claim. Guess what, people grow up- and hopefully you will as well.

Get over yourself. There is no need to defend who you let into PhiMu. All the poster was saying is that you took several girls that other houses dropped because of their tarnished reputations. That is the truth. I know for a fact my house dropped a lot of girls you all took because several members knew several of them personally and said they were not the type of girls we would be proud to call our sisters...period.
