by: YaThe rankings on here don't even matter. They change somewhat every year and definitely change from the time you're a freshman to sophomore. Also rankings can't be defined one by one. There are more popular chapters, girly chapters, smart chapters, involved chapters and chapters with a strong sisterhood. The truth comes out on campus..all year long..not on a website full of rumors and spiteful girls.

So true. My older sister told me that when she was on campus there were just a few houses the girls from our school thought they wanted to be in. Now the girls from our school are interested in a lot of different houses. There are just so many girls going through rush now that all the houses are doing well.

Recruitment used to operate to the advantage of a few traditionally strong chapters. Now the Release Figures Method, which was implemented several years ago, helps to even things out and gets PNMs to look at lots of chapters, not just a few. It seems to be working quite well at UT and all of the chapters are very strong. A PNM at Tennessee who maximizes her choices will get a bid from a great house!

That's one of the main reasons the sororities are doing so well. 1,000+ girls last year going through rush. Lots to choose from and not everyone that has good credentials can go to one of the most popular houses
