what makes a sorority better than another??

Seriously, why do sororities have to fight for top spots. Why can't we just all hang out and go to parties and events together. I'm pretty sure segregation ended a while ago...so why are we ranking sororities??? If you think about it, its really stupid. We are all girls who just want a home and friendships. Let's just be friends with everyone...
