Sigma Chi - ΣΧ Fraternity Ratings at UT

This house is massive numbers-wise, with an active population of over 150 guys. This being said, good luck knowing all of them at a basic level before initiation. It is not uncommon for sisters to feel ignored over there, making them uncomfortable. They never have enough alcohol, and typically dropping 20% of their fall pledge class shows how little the chapter knows the rushees. Pros-large house, solid parties. Cons-conformist house, little alc, narcissistic, low campus involvement.

Sig is the only house I truly feel comfortable in whenever I go to any fraternity. The boys are real gentleman. I think some people on here mentioned that they're snobby. Maybe they come off that way but when you actually get to know them, they are the nicest, most considerate guys. Sure there are some odd ones like at any other house but it's the house where that's least likely. Definitely liked the most by girls. A lot of them are really involved in sig stuff but not elsewhere.

Sigs are by far the most fratty on campus from the way they dress to the way they act, that being said its not always a good thing. Many of the guys i've met are really nice however you can get the sense of douchey "im better then you" attitude when they're in a group. Parties and philanthropy are great, def top tier with pike on the row.

While there are definitely exceptions, most of the guys in this house are more concerned about "getting some" than remembering a girls name. The are standoff-ish and conceited, for no reason at all. A good house for social events, just be careful when it comes to genuine relationships.

Considered top house, but definitely going to get passed up soon. Huge pledge class, but that doesn't leave a lot of room for brotherhood. Lots of hot guys, but not a lot of room for personality. They may be wearing collared shirts all the time, but don't let that fool you it's not always exactly gentlemanly behavior all the time. Definitely rush for quantity not quality of new members

This chapter is okay, they have a big house but that is it. Also rich spoiled guys who think they are better then the average middle class students.

Love the sigs! Good looking, classy guys. Sigma Chi is easily the top house on campus, great alumni, great brothers and great parties! Probably the most "fratty" house on campus. Not very involved though and most of the members are pretty rich and sometimes self absorbed.

Sig consistently rushes handsome, well-rounded, nice guys. They throw great parties, and are involved on the row but not so much in the university.

One of the few houses that most girls will feel safe at. Have had a huge dominance of the student government in past years, and consistently pledge good-looking, classy guys.
