Don’t trust 85% of the reviews here. Most reviews are just salty, cynical people who take themselves too seriously. Fact of the matter is, this is a rather small liberal arts college where the main focus is to make the most use of your four/five years here, not to squander them away. Only 25% of the student body is in Greek life. That being said, the past few SA Gov Presidents were in Greek Life and many people that go on to do things like publish research papers or end up working at places like IBM, Deloitte, or the UN/US Gov. were in Greek Life. Use your own common sense and determine the social scene for yourself. You should only come here for people to spill the half-true tea.

Rochester is pretty middle of the pack. Greek life is definitely strong with some great organizations, but chapters definitely aren't as large as at other schools.
