Do people get cut a lot during fall recruitment? Also are freshmen able to rush?

Freshmen cannot rush in the fall unless they have a semesters worth of college credits already. And, informal rush is more lenient than formal.

Well in the fall sororities might only be looking for like 1-3 girls (depending on the sorority), and you might have like 10-15 girls trying to fill those ~3 spots. So in that sense yes depending on the sorority MOST girls technically get cut
