Amazing sisterhood. Go local! So many real-world life skills to be learned that you wouldn't experience in a National. The sisters in this house REALLY make the sisterhood what it is. Nothing is handed to them - they are real women who go far in life.

Nice guys, they really are, but they don't make their pledges do anything. A little boring but I don't mind the extra time to do school work. Would overall have recommended them.

Go Local!! IGU has been on campus for almost 56 years and is one of the oldest local sororities in the country and not to mention, has outlasted many of the national sororities that were on campus back in 1962 when IGU was founded. Being a local sorority means that the house is run by the sisters with alumnae oversight. This allows the sisters to gain leadership skills and independence, as there is no National Organization breathing down their neck. This is an amazing sisterhood and group of alumnae. IGU may not have a million dollar mansion for a house, but the sisters make it what it is and are proud to call it their home. IGU represents a true sisterhood - personally knowing and caring about each sister. This is a group of real women, who have earned the right to call themselves a sister for life.
