Phi Sigma Sigma - ΦΣΣ Sorority at University of Maryland, Baltimore County - UMBC 2.5 One of their sisters told me they assign bigs and littles based on looking, not personality and similar interests. I know this isn’t always what happens and they do take the littles request into consideration, but the fact that it happens at all is pretty weird. They’re either the best person you’ve ever met or the worst, there’s no in between with Phi Sig and half of them are so fake that you’ll never be able to tell who’s your friend and who isn’t.

One of their sisters told me they assign bigs and littles based on looking, not personality and similar interests. I know this isn’t always what happens and they do take the littles request into consideration, but the fact that it happens at all is pretty weird. Phi Sigma Sigma - ΦΣΣ Sorority at University of Maryland, Baltimore County - UMBC 3.5 About half of them, maybe slightly less, live up to the stereotype (catty and pretty) but the other half are really genuine and sweet girls (...and also pretty.) If you make the right friends, they’re golden, but if you connect more with the girls who love to backstab, good luck. I feel like they’re more involved on campus than they seem, but they don’t talk much about what else they do which is a shame. Definitely a studious bunch but throw down sometimes (hello lambda)

Phi Sigma Sigma - ΦΣΣ Sorority at University of Maryland, Baltimore County - UMBC 5.0 I live with a Phi Sig and I have to say, anyone who thinks that Phi Sig is a bottom tier sorority needs to rethink that. They have great relationships with all of the frats, they are social on campus and they have some of the best sisterhood. You can always find them in big study groups in the Library and they have some of the highest GPAs in PHA.

I live with a Phi Sig and I have to say, anyone who thinks that Phi Sig is a bottom tier sorority needs to rethink that. They have great relationships with all of the frats, they are social on campus and they have some of the best sisterhood. There are some of them that are truly amazing people and I wish the entire group reflected the same, but a lot of them are just very mean to others in the community. A lot of their new pledge class is really nice though.
