gpa consideration?
by: LolI’m a current KU freshman who’s planning on doing rush next year. How important are GPAs to sororities when recruiting? My GPA is ok, but I’m not sure if sororities cut solely on GPA. Would it be worth it to take some summer classes and bulk up my GPA or nah?

While sororities do heavily look at grades and many do have minimums for membership... it's only a factor which is considered.
Instead, maybe find a passion where you can volunteer or work so you have something to talk about with members in the chapters! That will impress more than taking summer classes. Especially since when you register with Panhellenic for Formal Recruitment you give your GPA. There is no chance to update GPA after taking summer classes.

I am in a house that has had one of the top GPAs on campus for the past few years and honestly as long as you have above a 3.0 and some involvement, you are 100% fine. My GPA was a 3.5 and my friends was a 4.0 and got cut it mostly depends on if you're a good fit for that house. If you have like a 2.0 I would maybe bulk it a little? You can still get into houses though I bet
