Definitely have a specific recruitment criteria: blonde, white, rich. Bonus if you’re all 3. There are a few girls I really like but a majority are stuck up and will let you know they’re a Pi Phi. Terrible atmosphere when I went in for recruitment I immediately wanted to leave. One of my recruiters asked me what I did that summer 5 times in different ways and literally talked to me about the weather. Didn’t really try to hide the fact that she didn’t want me in the house. Also heard that they put numbers up behind PNMs backs when walking them through the house to rank them. Imagine every mean girl stereotype and multiply it by 10. Sucks that the nice girls in the house get overshadowed by the rude ones.

I love the house I ended up in but I was devastated when Chi O dropped me. Gorgeous house, loved all the actives I talked to during rush! Consistently top in grades but they still know how to have a good time.

I hate the whole concept of “top” and “bottom” houses, but I can see why people consistently rank them as a bottom house socially. The actives I talked to during rush didn’t know how to hold a conversation and it was very stilted, almost as if they were reading from cue cards behind my head. Maybe it was just recruitment nerves, idk, but it was almost offputting. All of the ADPI’s I’ve met are super sweet though and their house is gorgeous!

Ruined their reputation with a lot of the srats after one guy spiked like 5 girls drinks in one night. Went to the house a little bit after that for a mixer pregame and all the girls had a whole palm over their drinks the whole night. Had to throw a basically full drink away because I was talking to a SigEp and forgot to cover it. Only thing I think of when I think of this house is SigEp spike night 😬😬

Insane house, like it’s massive. Hosts a lot for basketball watch parties and they have a great space for it too. Good at making sure they drinks never run too low. Wouldn’t say the guys are super outgoing, they kind of just keep to themselves and only talk to girls they already know, maybe that’s a me issue. They always have a good rush and get good guys because people know they’re a popular house. Not sure if they can beat the snowhead stereotype though.

One of the top houses for sure but I can’t really put my finger on why. Their 4th floor parties remind me of high school basement parties where the parents are upstairs and there’s a single strobe light in the corner. Just awkward. All the guys I’ve met are cool but I wouldn’t describe the house as a whole as outgoing.

Don’t know too much about KapSig. They don’t host often but when they do, there’s a big turnout and it’s fun. Their stop day darty last year was the best one I went to but they ran out of hotdogs smh.

Mixed feelings about Beta. In my opinion they’re a bit overrated and people meat ride a little too hard for Beta, but they do host a lot and the basketball tournament is always really fun and for a great cause. Only complaint is that musty lockerroom. All that money and the only place they have to host inside the house is a 10x12 storage closet. Hella heads at the lockerroom parties, popular house.
