We need a new chapter
by: Much neededI think now is the best time for panhel to consider adding a new chapter. Yes I know we had phi mu, and they died faster than a fruit fly, but that was post covid when rush numbers were significantly smaller. With the expected 2,000 girls rushing this year, I’d say around 1,000 will get bids. There are so many girls who just want to be included that I’m sure a new chapter would get new members. I would love to see KD, DZ, or AGD come to Boulder!

because they would have to start from scratch meaning finding girls to be exec and it would probably be hard to convince girls to join a sorority when there is no prior knowledge/"culture" to the sorority. also one of the fun things/pulling factors of a sorority is their relations and events with sororities and frats which a new sorority wouldn't have.

PC size is not arbitrary. Unless panhel puts a cap on invitations before pref round, PC size is determined by the number of pnms invited to pref divided by 9. Obv some girls will SIP and get dropped, and some will drop because they didn’t get what they wanted, but way more than 1000 pnms will run home. Last year’s classes were 175!

Genuine question, why would a new sorority coming to Boulder automatically be considered the lowest?
